Duane and Lorraine, A sweeter love story is hard to find. Duane adored her. He followed her everywhere. In the summer they enjoyed the pond by the well. He'd watch over her. Make sure she was safe, while taking her bath.
In the winter they had to make due with the tub in the pen. Tehy didn't like to make the long truck to the pond. But they made the most of it. Round and round. Then Duane would exit early and leave Lorrainne to a little private time. After which she needed a little privacy to dry off.
After their daily bath they'd go hide in a sunny spot. Sometimes you need a pair of ducks to remind you of how great the simple things in life are.
